  1. We arrange SCHENGEN VISAS for foreign residents in the UK with at least 1 year UK permit (Work, Working Holiday, Student, Spouse, HSMP, Ancestral, etc), NOT visitors.

  2. We work with South African, Indian, Russian, Thai and other foreign citizens and spouses of UK/Irish and Portuguese citizens. We cannot apply for certain nationals (Pakistani, Nigerian)

  3. Your UK address must be in one of these counties: Greater London, Avon, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Channel Islands, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Milton Keynes, Norfolk, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Suffolk, Surrey, Sussex, Wiltshire. If your county is not listed you have to apply in Manchester in person.

  4. Cost: £70 plus Embassy fee £55. If you are married to UK/Portuguese national - just £70.

  5. Visa validity: decided by the Embassy only (not by agencies).

  6. Documents required (all must be ORIGINALS):

  1. Passport with UK visa in, both valid for at least 3 months beyond your trip.

  2. 1 passport-size colour photograph on WHITE background; must be different from photos on any old visas.(Do NOT use PAPER CLIPS or STAPLES).

  3. Tickets. Internet print-outs are accepted.

  4. Proof of Accomodation:
    • If staying at a hotel: hotel booking in Portugal. Internet print-outs are accepted.

    • If staying with friends/family: SIGNED original letter from the host (please no emails). Plus a copy of the host'S passport; copy of utility bill with the address in Portugal - these can be scanned & emailed

    • If renting a villa: SIGNED original letter from the host confirming payment (rent); copy of the host's passport and a copy of a utility bill with the address in Portugal. Please no emailed invitations.
  5. Travel Insurance stating area and expenses covered. Go to Insure&Go for an instant on-line purchase. NB: If insurance provided with your bank account - ask your bank for a NEW original letter confirming cover (letter DATED NO OLDER than 1 MONTH, on bank's headed paper).

  6. Original FULL bank statement (no older than 1 month) with your name and address; with £300-500 on it. Please NO overdrawn statements however high your limit is.

    If last original statement is older than 1 month please send it plus a 'Temporary Statement' with up-to-date balance from the same account. This can be done instantly at your bank or internet banking.

    Send BOTH old 'postal' statement AND 'Temporary Statement'!!! Just a 'Temporary Statement' or on-line statement on its own is NOT accepted!

    If you have no bank statement: original EURO travellers cheques £45 per person per day of stay.

  7. For employed: Letter from Employer (no older than 1 month) on headed paper. Must confirm you are employed by that company, your job title. Company name must be same as on your bank statement where your salary is paid in.

  8. If you are not working and supported by a spouse: spouse's employment letter (as p.7), spouse's bank statement (as p.6); original spouse's passport and original marriage certificate. If not in English it must be officially translated and stamped by a respective Embassy.

  9. For students: Letter from College/University confirming attendance. Letter must be: no older than 1 month; on headed paper; stating your course, dates of graduation; confirming ATTENDANCE.

  10. For self-employed: Letter (no older than 1 month on headed paper) from accountant or solicitor confirming you are self-employed, business name and type of business.

  11. For spouses of UK/Irish/Portuguese citizens: spouse's original UK/Irish/Portuguese passport and original marriage certificate. If not in English/Portuguese must be officially translated.

  12. If travelling on business/conference: Business Invitation stating your name, company name, purpose of the trip, dates and contacts of the inviting organisation. If the company is in Portugal - fax is acceptable. If the company is in the UK (such as a conference organiser) - original postal letter. Please no emails.

  13. Payment for £125. If you are married to a UK/Irish/Portuguese citizen - £70. Cash or cheque to 'Multi Travel Visas Ltd'.

  14. Pre-paid Special Delivery envelope (to return your documents) from any Post Office or add £6.
